VASE's Annual Spring Meeting canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite the ongoing administration of COVID-19 vaccines, an overall decline in SARS-CoV-2 infection rate, and relaxation of some COVID-19 restrictions, the VASE Board of Directors decided that it is too early to host its annual Spring meeting in-person. This is disappointing news indeed, but we remain optimistic that VASE's annual Fall meeting, typically held in September or October, will be the first to convene in-person since the start of the pandemic nearly a year ago. In lieu of the spring meeting and as a way to showcase our 2020 grant recipients and inductees, VASE will be allocating space on its website so that students and their mentors can present a summary of their grant-funded research, and new inductees can describe their research in a way that works with this mode of presentation.
