Call for 2022 Small Equipment and HOST Grant applications. (Deadline: September 27, 2022.)

VASE's Small Equipment Grants are designed to enable Vermont teachers to incorporate opportunities for hands-on STEM activities in their classrooms (and are meant for in-classroom projects only). VASE's HOST grants are designed to support independent science activities such as extra-curricular science clubs, science/robotic clubs (eg. FIRST robotics), and independent citizen science projects (and are not meant for in-classroom projects). Both funding mechanisms can award up to $1500.00 per application based on scientific merit and student accessibility. Applications are especially encouraged from Vermont science teachers who serve rural and underserved communities.
