The Annual Fall meeting was held in-person at Middlebury College in September, with Bill McKibben as the keynote speaker. McKibben called to action a cross-generational movement to combat climate change. VASE honored Outstanding Science Teacher of the Year awardee Derek Burkins of the Thetford Academy, and inducted 5 new members into the Academy - Beth Kirkpatrick, Mark Levine, Leslie Parise, Mary Cushman, and Giuseppe Petrucci.
